Kailee and Hamsa's Wedding
I was asked by the Bride to make portrait sketches of the guests. She also asked me to capture a few moments during the reception, such as her grand entrance, cutting the cake and a sketch of the venue. I was able to do a little more as the dinner went longer than expected so there weren't any people ready for portraits for a bit after I got there. When I first arrived I was able to capture the very last moment of their first dance at the venue. Afterwards I did some sketches of the newlyweds mingling and sitting down for dinner and a toast. Then it was off to portraits of which there are a few examples here. And once the grand entrance occurred I made some sketches of people dancing and the cake cutting and then back to portraits. It was truly a beautiful wedding. The venue watercolor was made after the fact from a photograph.
